I am new to chicken raising. I got at 6 weeks old. I have 2 Barred Rocks and 2 Buff Orpingtons. So far everything is going great all though I think they may be a bit scared of me :-/ I am working on it. I'm happy to be part of this group. The girls are my first step toward being a more self sufficient human leading a better more sustainable lifestyle! I look forward to getting to know everyone. <3

- glad that you have joined us. If you just hang out with your chicks (maybe read or listen to music) and offer the occasional treat they should be increasingly calm in your presence.
