Hiya y'all, I am a newbie Chicken Mom. I have a Rhode Island Red/Bantem mix Hen and Rooster. They are roughly between 15-20 weeks old, I got them as chick's. Next spring I will be getting 6 more chicken's.

Hi I loved the chick raising experience. If you want to get different breed egg layers next sping. I suggest barred rock Plymouth hens they lay on avredge 280 eggs a year docile and dual purpose. They are also extremly freindly.
