Thank you! Yes, I already know about their fondness for spinach. I'll have to grow some of the other veggies in special pots for them. Maybe I'll put them in their coop area, as a special enticement. Our girls are free range, and it's sometimes a challenge to find their eggs. Anything to attract them to the coop will be good.

If you cut down a milk crate so it's about 6'-8' high and place over the plant it will keep them from killing it. Then they can eat it as it grows.
