I'd read so much about soft shelled first eggs and what not that I couldn't believe it when hers came out perfect! The egg did have a little blood on it but a quick check on here assured me that was nothing to worry about unless it carries on too long.

I can't wait until all 4 of my ladies are laying!!
 
Or even freezing the mud would be a bonus! I've got three cockapoos and it's much nicer cleaning up after them when their little parcels are like hard frozen bullets

We were frozen on Saturday night Sunday morning, but with all the rain we had on Saturday it was like an ice rink out there :barnie
Was pretty hairy taking the horses down the field first thing on Sunday!! As soon as it had defrosted though it was right back to sloppy mud again!!
And now it's really mild, don't think it can decide what to do :idunno
