Hello from Syracuse, NY

Welcome, welcome.

I am new here, myself, and preparing for my first pullets this spring. In the meantime, I'm learning a lot from some great folks here who are so generous with their knowledge / experience.

I appreciate your comment about "being impatient" ...

It's nice to see folks from all over. When I tell friends I have friends in other states they are surprised. It's nice to stay connected with fellow Americans.

Chicken wise I have Delaware, Birchen Marans, Columbian Rocks from GA, Barred Rocks from MO , Lav orps from PA, a RIR and BBS orp hens from AL and some EE's and a couple of frizzles. And roosters to go with most of them.

Far to many right now. Chicks being hatched by hens.

If you're new keep an eye out for our Granny square swaps if you crochet or even if you're a beginner and need a reason to practice.

Cold here right now but the garden is started. Join us on garden thread and canning thread. I've gotten lots of help to hard to find local.

Take care,

Rancher Hicks
