Hello from the UK!

Hi all,

I’m relatively new to chicken keeping having rescued 4x ex battery hens in December last year.

All four are settling well. They’re not bald anymore and follow me around the garden. I’ve attached a photo of the girls.

I am a fully vegan mother of two boys. We love having chickens and they’re a firm part of our family.

Great that you could join us all here! How nice of you take in those girls. I too have 3 that I got from my local commercial farm. Bit scraggy at first but that’s to be expected. All fully feathered now & real characters!
