I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Lisa, I grew up on a small farm, and was active in 4-H as a kid, where I had a poultry project. Fast forward to many years to count, and now I have started a 4-H group for my kids, and my youngest wants a poultry project. Things have sure changed in the last 30+ years, and now kids in 4-H exhibit poultry, which I have never done. I look forward to learning about breeding poultry for exhibition, and how to exhibit poultry. I have many questions about starting a breeding/exhibition program, I am sure I will find many knowledgeable people here to help. We have started by acquiring some hatching eggs, we have White and Partridge Cochin Bantams, and Black Ameraucana eggs in the incubator ( they just went in last night). Depending on what hatches, I will be looking for more stock to breed these with. I look forward to getting to know you all. Thanks in advance for all your help. Lisa
