Hello from the Okanogan in WA state!
I'm new to chicken raising and have already found so much useful information here!
I have a mixed flock of 7; 5 are newly laying hens (around 5mos) and two are 3 mos.
I've got 2 Blue Copper Marans, 1 crossbeak Blue laced red wyandotte, 1 welbar, 1 Ancona, 1 Splash Ameraucana, and 1 Salmon Faverolles. Planning to add 4 more to the flock in the spring (thinking mille fleur d'uccles and another faverolles)
I keep them for pets and I'm a freelance illustrator!
