Yeah I had chickens (they weren't mine but I made them mine) back in like 1992? 1994? I love the idea of having a self sustaining barn where I can raise my own food and not have to rely on what the supermarket has or pay their prices for meat. Right now my fiance and I aren't in the position to purchase property but we are planning on trying to buy property in the next couple years. I've already decided I want to get Delaware and Phoenix chickens. Delaware for the eggs and meat and Phoenix just because I can

We (I) are in the process of researching, looking up breeders, plans and what not. I'd like to have a decent sized flock of Delawares one day. But I'm all for planning things and these things take time for me so.
