Hello my name is Kyra. I joined BYC because I am getting some hens for eggs and eventually breeding. I wanted to get as much info as i can about different breeds. I also was thinking about getting a few ducklings later.

Welcome to BYC, Kyra. Glad you decided to join our flock. Murray McMurray has a good "chick selector" tool at https://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/chick_selector.html to help you determine which breed is best for you. Just be sure and click on "show more characteristics." Even if you don't purchase your birds from Murray, the "chick selector" is still a valuable tool.
