Help! Baby Chick with a "Squishy Side"??

Help! My baby polish chick has a squishy side! I don't know if it's the crop or what, but almost the whole right side of it's body is squishy (excluding the wing). It doesn't seem to be in any pain when I touch it, but all of the stories I've read only involve squishy necks! I really don't want Sugar to die!!

I would greatly appreciate it if I got an answer soon! Thanks!

Sorry I couldn't get back sooner. Great news! After about 2-3 weeks with the squishy side, it went away! I don't know how, but it has reduced greatly in size. and the chick is acting healthy and happy

Hopefully the squishy side won't come back!


Oh, and the spot was kind of bare when it was squishy... you could see the blood vessel in her side, but even with that she would still fly around. She is about 1 1/2 months now. She looked like she was breathing fine also. Any idea what it would've been? If you need pictures I will post some (if I can catch her

perhaps she just got a little bit of a blockage and it finally moved downward. Glad she is doing better though.. YIPPIE
