Help! I’ve got a 6 week old Ameracauna chick with wry neck. We’ve been isolating her, as well as supplementing selenium, vitamin E, and adding electrolytes to her water.

She seemed a little better for a few days, but today she’s been writhing as her neck will twist and then she is “stuck” on her back until we give her a little boost back up. Any tips would help as I feel like we’re on our last leg of hope!

Can you try giving some thiamine or vitamin B1, which you can find in most chick vitamins, polyvisol without iron, or b complex 1/4 tablet daily. Try feeding her often, and mix some chick feed with water and a little egg yolk. Egg has all the selenium she needs.
