It's getting worse!!! I need advise
Is this the vent that has prolapsed or is is the umbilical stump? If the vent is prolapsed, it could be from pasty butt, or straining to poop. Keep the area moist with some plain neosporin ointment. If it is the vent that prolapsed, use some honey, sugar, or Preparation H cream to the fent, and try to push it back inside with your finger, then hold it there for a few minutes. If it is not the vent, then it could be a hernia. How old is the chick?
