So my curious idiot of a chicken, Esther, ate less than a drop of paint primer. She is a barred rock hen, and just started laying a week or 2 ago. What should I do?
She seems fine right now, but I have no idea.
Will she be ok? How can I help her?
Thanks for your help!

Wow I have no idea.... you could try calling the poison control center or the manufacturer or an avian vet clinic? The only other thing I could think of would be to give activated charcoal, but that doesn't help in ever circumstance. I think it usually only works in the first hour after ingestion...
But I also can't imagine that a single peck of primer would be highly toxic.
Hopefully someone else has more advice!

How do I administer it? Better to be safe than sorry, you know.

Yeah, she's fine now, but I don't know. Does anyone know how long till symptoms will start to show of she is poisoned?
