Goose update: she was not in trouble, she was on her nest. Six more wild Canada geese that will imprint and call our pond home. ;-(

How cool so she has her nest on a raft??

Wow! That's super interesting, did you get pics of her on the raft? I wouldn't be able to help myself, I'd snap a few just because that's so crazy! Sure is a safe spot, though. Can't imagine a fox or raccoon would be bold enough to swim all the way out there for some eggs.

That is good news. So she decided the raft was an island and a safe place to nest and raise her young. Keep us updated and try to get pictures if you can do so without distrubing her.
