Help identifying chicks

Hey guys,
So I hatched out a bunch of chicks, and not I'm confused and can't tell the difference between any of them... lol.


I got blue orpington eggs, black copper maran, ameraucana, and barred rocks.


The blue orpington eggs are from all blue parent stock (although the breeder told me they should hatch out true blue... I'm reading differently! lol)

The ameraucana are from a white hen, a black hen, and some other color rooster.. maybe partridge?


Anyways, I have ended up with 3 gray/light grey chicks, and the rest are all black... some with more white, some with yellow on their faces. Is there any way of knowing a definite difference between them?

Barred rocks have a spot on their heads right?


Is there anything I can look for to differentiate ameraucana and BCM? and what if some of my orpingtons are black?

I agree. Try looking up pictures of the chicks, that may help.
