Okay, so I’ve seen plenty out here saying place the cage with new quail besides existing quail cage and wait til they get used to each other.
I haven’t found anything that would help me with my situation..:..help!
I have a large cage with a male and two female coturnix. They are all established and get on. I know I need (and want) more hens.
So I bought a hen from the feed store and did as everyone says….
Plot twist:
The male is very interested and agitated by the new quail through the wire….so much so that he’s turned on one of the hens in his cage and is chasing her relentlessly and attacking her. He’s insane.
So I take him out and end up with three cages of quail……..how am I supposed to go about this now?
