Help lol

so I got 2 Indian runners on Tuesday. my mom took one and I kept one. she can leave hers alone and he will be fine however mine is VERY attached to me...I can't even go to the bathroom without her having a breakdown and running to find me. is there a way I can break this? I mean I don'tmind at all cuz I love her but I feel bad that she has a breakdown when I'm not in her site.

It sounds as though she has imprinted on you, so it's normal that she panics when you leave. Ducks don't generally do well in singles, so unless you're going to be with her constantly, I'd recommend getting her a buddy.

i had 2 to begin with cuz I seen they need a buddy Lol but she got jealous of him and only wanted him around for so long...she sees him every day tho. and I stay home and go to classes online so I'll always be with her

I just got nervous cuz I felt bad...but thanks for the advice

Like I said in your other thread...Ducks are social and need other Ducks...Your putting human emotions on a Duck and it's just normal Duck behaviour....
