HELP!!! My chickens are pecking each other! I don't know if this lotion hurts them!

Recently, my chickens have been pecking at each other. I put on Rooster Booster peck-no-more lotion and it seems to work. But, I have been reading stuff online and was wondering if it damaged my chickens' pH levels. Please help because this may hurt their feathers. Any feedback would be VERY appreciated!! THANK YOU!

Where did you get that information, and what pH levels? In the blood, crop contents, ? Here is a list of the ingredients, and can you post some info about what you have heard?

Were you reading blogs or credible sources? Anything can technically cause an imbalance of the skins ph levels, but you can't "damage" pH levels only the actual skin itself. Imbalances are however, possible similar to scales, pH levels can be balanced back. Rooster Booster has been around for over 20 years and is a credible brand in the poultry world. Would I use peck-no-more everyday for the rest of a chickens life? No, but used appropriately according to the manufacturers guidelines it is safe.
