help!!!!!! nest box was flipped!!

So...this morning I went out and a dead chick was laying in the coop. No shell anywhere and it was covered with ants. No other eggs are pipping. The shell may be under momma, but I made her stand and did not see it. I am just not sure. It was very early to have hatched. I was expecing them tonight into tomorrow at the earliest. I am still hoping for one or two peeps.

Yay!!! I have one baby so far!!! It looks good!!

Yea, my broody hen went of the eggs for about half an hour and they went cold but 3 - 6 hatched and thats what I was expecting so you never know

We just got home from Austin and our friend informed us that we also have at least one yellow chick. Tomorrow we will remove any eggs left and count for sure.
