I'm building a coop that will be part of a larger run.
I was wondering what the perfect hight would be? I have 4X6 foot print for the coop. I have 6 ft of hight total to work with. I want to have enough room under the coop to clean up if needed. Sooooo.... for those of you with experience. Is a 2 ft space under a coop enough room to clean up and is a 4 ft high coop high enough for the hens????.... I can make the coop ground level but I have seen everybody raising the coops and figured it would be a good idea...
