HELP, scalped quail

male quail, approx 6 weeks old. Has been hurling himself repeatedly at the roof overnight ( clearly I had more than one male just mature) Has scalped himself on wire.
How can I help him?
will add photo from phone in a miute.
I have wrapped him up and tucked him in a warm dark box. He's very shocked looking. quite fresh wound.
Not sure he'll make it, but dont know how to put him out of his misery.
Can I do anything for him or will he just quietly die from the the shock alone.

no. and they're kinda useless here for birds.
do i feed him sugar water?
do i dispatch him somehow

Ok my chicken had her breast pulled off and I sprayed Vetericyn Wound & Skin Care on it lots of times a day and she is fine now. Just Google that name on the computer.

just read another post, from a while back. Said, antibiotic cream, and stuff i dont have..
My vets dont have anything obvious I can treat him with..maybe antibiotic cream? if I'm lucky.. i just rang them
they suggested maybe bathe it and leave him to see isf he survives shock.
