Help with gender

The barred Rock is a pullet.

I also have 4 week old rocks. 3 look black with white specks but one looks white with flecks of black.
Are the pullets lighter in colour?

No the other way. Males are lighter and the white is more pronounced.

The farmer did try and pick girls for me though.

That looks like a male on the left. They don't really look pure barred, though...something's way too muddy about the pattern.

Ya I can kinda see that. Thought it was because they were going through feathering but not as clear as they could be. So whatever they are I guess I have three girls and one boy then.

I say pullet because if it was a cockeral it should have had a red comb not light red a good shade of dark red almost not fully.I've had barred rocks.I've had cockserals before too.If their cockerals combs are pretty bigger,but at his/hers age it normally won't show perfectly,but there really is no way of knowing quiet yet.
