Welcome to BYC!

Pic 1 looks like a pullet and pic 2 looks like a cockerel.

Also I'm not too sure pic 1 is a BCM, and pic 2 is definitely not a BLRW.
Where did you get them?

Thank you for the welcome and the help!
Interesting. We got them from a reputable breeder close to us in Ontario. The first hatched from what I assumed was a maran egg. I have no idea what the second one is as we ordered BCMs and crele orphingtons. Hatched from a light brown egg.
I will post a few more tonight hopefully to see what we have got!

The first may be a BCM, I was thinking maybe not cause it looks like she has some green on her legs, which a BCM shouldn't have. What was the color egg that she hatched from?
I also have no idea on the second ones breed.
I'm sure others will chime in and give their opinions.

Sounds good!

Here are a few more pics of our chicks if anyone can help us out! Any advice on breed or sex is greatly appreciated!
1-4 - BCM
5 - legbar
6 - sweedish flower hen
7 - no idea

Hey everyone!
Just wondering if anyone can help me out here? Guessing a lot of roos but maybe there is still some hope lol

5 is the only pullet. 😬

7 is a Buff Orpington.
Much appreciated!
That’s kinda what I figured but thought maybe there was some hope. I guess on the plus side, we might have a nice selection to pick a couple roos from lol
I somehow missed your post! Sorry about that!
no worries at all! I just appreciate the advice. This was our first hatch and we gave 6 chicks away…..of course it was 6 pullets lol

Glad to help!
The 4th BCM might be a pullet, but I am leaning cockerel. Could you get a side pic of that one?
