Hen attacked

My hen was found laying with a bloody head. She is only in with a single silkie who raised her. Her feathers have been pulled out of her head along with her eye pecked.
No punctuation anywhere. It was afternoon.any suggestion as to what kind of predator I have? Fence was not climbed and there is no fur or other evidence

I have meds on her..but need to know what I'm dealing with as I have other birds...any idea what could have done this?

Honestly, scalping is usually from other birds.
Unless your run is 100% enclosed, it could be a raptor or coon

Probably, unless she was just out of reach. So I think it's the other hen.

Thanks....I was thinking that but I just don't know how a little silkie could do that when the hurt hen is twice the size and can fly?

Silkies are no less chicken than other chickens. I think she did it.
