What?It is always hard to have a serious question when much of nothing comes about, that being said. Of course there is much difference in the breeding of a SPANGLE ORPINGTON, verses what is called a Spangle/Mottle. The two carry the basic color Black?White? one must look at the over all blackness a rooster, carries and the hen and then hen carries over all mostly black feathers as well as the rooster, as in jet black! As mentioned by respectable breeders in Europe. It is mandatory that the Spangle Orpington must be crossed with a Jubilee, as not in every generation but in insure the correct amount of "Mottling"as these offspring mature and show a even amount of mottling, these individual's will be used for the breeding line, It is strictly important to not use every Jubilee mottling, one rooster is usually enough for this next generation. As mentioned before you do not use every breeding rooster to create a correct breeding line of SPANGLES! this must be done carefully with much thought and care. Thomas
