Hey everyone, we have a hen who's about a year and a half old who this year started to do some really weird head motions. She's does them very simillarly to the rooster below except she'll jerk her neck up and back and then up and side to side, her eyes wide. In the beginning she would do the head motions mainly when she was trying to eat. She would act hesitant and slowly try to peck at her food before jerking as previously described. Now, she still does those motions when trying to eat but she also furiously scratches her waddles and wipes her beak excessively. The neck motions also happen more frequently throughout the day as she walks about and does other things.

I tried to check her ears for mites but I couldn't see anythings (she has to many feathers in her ear)! They all get grit. Any idea what it could be? Thanks in advance!
