I found this on my hens head and I got it off please help?!?!? What are the wite things?!?! If she gonna be okay? Help please!!!

Like Hholly I have questions and sadly, not an answer; never seen anything like it.

Where was it on her head? When you say “I got it off” did it come off easily or did you have to use force to pull it off or cut it off?

Was the large end which we can see what was attached to the chicken? If so, the white bits could be fatty deposits.

Or is/was it alive and the white bits were what it was using to hang onto the chicken?

Any chance we can get a couple more pictures from different angles and something next to it so that we can gauge it’s size?

Is that the only one she had on her or are there more?

Edited to add one more question, sorry: When you removed it, did she bleed and/or does she now have a wound?
