Hen or roo? Blue Ameraucana

The photos are all of the same bird, but I have 3 blue Ameraucanas who will be 12 weeks old tomorrow. I bought them as sexed pullets but I know that’s not a 100% guarantee. I keep hearing one of the chickens make the same sounds our rooster made before he started full-on crowing and I haven’t been able to spot the culprit yet.

The only one I have besides the Ameraucanas who isn’t under 3 weeks old and who isn’t laying is an Easter egger but she’s 5 months old and I’m about 95% confident that she is a pullet. I’ll make separate posts for my other two Ameraucanas whenever I’m able to- they’ve hated my guts since the day they arrived and idk why but it’s hard to catch them for pictures

I think you have a pullet!! I was a bit confused from your post, but were you saying that she is 12 weeks old?

Yes I said right at 12 weeks bc I was thinking they turned 12 weeks yesterday but they will be 13 weeks old on Monday.

Actually no they hatched June 11 so they’ll be 12 weeks old tomorrow I confused myself so I went back and checked

For being 12 weeks old and not having any male feathering coming in yet, I think she’s a pullet. She is pretty!

I have three Black/Lavender Split Ameraucana, two pullets and one roo, that are right about the same age as yours. I love their sounds! Ameraucanas are very smart too… sometimes too much for their own good.

It's a rooster. I breed blue ameraucanas. See the long tail growing? The pullets usually have small tail. That guy's comb is already starting to get reddish. And I am an expert

The tail says roo, the short hackles say hen. Lol
