hen raised vs hatchery bought....

So I have a noticeable diffrence in some chick's I raised.....I bought chick's from a hatchery....once raised up....I let a broody hen hatch some....now 6 months old the hens and the roosters from the hatch already outweigh there parent birds.....is this due to a raising issue? It's winter so they aren't receiving as much as they potentially could because they free range...yes I feed them store bought feed and kitchen scraps just the same as I always have...but why are my lil roos and pullets already bigger than the parent stock? Is it because they were farmed raised and naturally hatched and not incubator babies? Let me know what yall think
