2yo Buff with now cloudy eye. She's my broody hen. Treated whole flock of 12 with valbazen for suspect thread worms, repeated in 10 days. Then I found on broody buff gray/white lice on and treated the whole flock with Elector PSP and throughly cleaned entire coup and run.
day after treating for lice my buff's eye was closed. Rooster being mean to her, not allowed to eat before I noticed her eye was shut.

Brought her to the sick bay. Eye started turning red, now cloudy.

No smell, no discharge. Poo normal. Eating and drinking when by herself.

The eye looks pretty serious, and may be blind. Do you have any antibiotic eye drops, perhaps from cataract surgery? Ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin can be good to apply 2-4 times per day. If not, I would get some Terramycin eye ointment or even plain Neosporin ointment. Flush the eye with a couple of drops of saline eye wash, and apply the ointment 2-3 times a day.
Is there any over crowding or is the rooster just bullying her? Chickens can get by with the use of only one eye, but she may need to have some special care.

Updated pictures.
Been using the Terramycin eye ointment almost 24hrs. No noticeable improvement. Acting skidish bc I think she can't see out of that eye. Little swelling, no drg, or smell. Eating drinking fine. Preening herself and laying eggs fine.
No overcrowding but Bantum rooster knows she's not right and bullies her to keep her away from the flock.
Do you think she's contagious?

Hi, how is your hen doing now? Did her eye ever improve and did the ointment help?
