Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

So how long do those shadows dance around at the back of air cell before external pip? it looks like it is really pushing up on the membrane in there. I am nervous here

First you see shadows, then it internally pips and you will hear clicking. Then, another 24 hours later, it will externally pip. Best of luck!

I had night mares all night that the hatcher fell apart and I couldnt find the peices so I tore everything apart looking for them lol
but good news when I got up GOOSIE HAS PIPPED!! I moved to hatcher at 7 am

YEAH!! Yes, the external pip looks either like a crack in the shell, or a raised dimple on shell. If fat end of egg is facing you (with air cell dip on top), the pip will be located on the top right side towards fat end. If you marked your air cell line on day 21, it will be just below that line.

Excellent news!! Yes, all they need is a teeny crack through the shell to get the oxygen they need. Your baby should rest for many hours now while it also slowly works on making the initial crack bigger, before it is time to hatch out.
