Oh I can't wait. I am so excited about these Easter eggs. They are the sweetest little girls. I am planning to let them run with the big girls a little this weekend and hopefully get them into the coop. The have been in a temp run, within the run for a couple of weeks now. So they have been interacting through the fence. Fingers crossed it goes well.

I decided to wait a couple more weeks, I just don't think they are old enough. They are close to the same size, but I think they need to mature a little more before they can stand up to the big girls. So I will leave them in their pen within the pen for awhile. At least they can all still see each other.

WEEK 15, I wanted to show their colors. And they are just starting to turn pink\red in the comb.

Wow they are very close in color. I guess I don't know much about leghorns, but I had no idea they had that color. I guess because of foghorn leghorn, I assumed they were all white! . Chicken breeds are just amazing to me.
