(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I raised Chickens as a child, but I got my flock about 3.5 weeks ago!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
8!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Not 100% sure but my guess is 2 Welsummers, 1 RIR, 1 ISA Brown, 4 Austra or California Whites
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Right now I'm excited for creating an awesome run for them and teaching my kids about farming, responsibilities, circle of life ECT...
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I ride horses, and love crafting of all sorts, always looking for new DIY ideas
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 kids 11F & 4M, I have 2 dogs & 3 cats, I am 30, live in CT and am currently attending college for nursing!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC about 3-4 weeks ago when I started googling about my chicks. I decided to join when I realized I've been on this site too many times to not have joined already
