After a few years of thinking about it, I finally went to Tractor Supply and bought 6 chicks. 4 Banty's and 2 RI reds. I sold the wife on them, with the idea that I thought it would be a "good experience for the kids". I got the "uh-huh" look but I was able to close the deal.

Now there sitting here next to me, chirping happily. Chasing each other around under the lamp, like its a day at the beach. Their soo funny to watch!

Thanks! I converted and old sandbox with a roof over to a coop. It ended up being 8' X 16'. I am already thinking about expanding or building another! Maybe some fast growing Cornish Rocks!
