I have had adult chickens before (20 yrs ago), but never chicks. I Know I have 3 Red Sex (I prefer Red Star, lol), but the other 3 were not labeled, Help!! I think they are 4 weeks old?? 2 of the cream colored ones are much smaller, clearly picked on before I got them. I have to clean 'Babys' bum, everyday.
They love to be outside! I have a pen that I put out, over grass, my garden, and brick/stone. They've started to 'dirt bathe'! They are outgrowing the brood box....how old should they be to go in their coop, a heat lamp can be there. The coop should be finished in 3 days.

! Pleased you joined our community! Fully feathered is generally considered when it's okay to remove heat from the chicks...that's about 4+ weeks. They look a little younger than 4 weeks in that pic to me - still a lot of down on them. There are some really great chick rearing articles in the Learning Center - here's the link to a couple:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/...ks-the-first-60-days-of-raising-baby-chickens
and https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/raising-your-baby-chicks
Those articles should answer a lot of your questions. And if you'd like to chat with some fellow PA poultry peeps, find your state thread in the link below and say howdy: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread
Best wishes on your chicken adventure and thanks for joining BYC!!
