I started with chickens last year, I bought 12 RIR along with them came 2 Albino RIR... Then I bought some Silkie Eggs an Show Gril Eggs that are from SQ line out of FL and hatched them out, I added a few from my RIR and Albino RIR..... The Rir did the best - Silkies & show Girls not so good, out of 36 eggs I got 8 :-( That was 8 months ago & come to find out I have 5 roo's. So I went on the hunt for some more silkies and different colors and I now have all the colors I love ... But Lavender and I am looking. I have 3 small flocks.. My 8 month older Then I have 8 that are 4 weeks or so and I have 8 that are a week old. and I have my Flock of RIR all in there own areas. So I am taken in all the info I can get,
