I live on 5 1/2 rented acres with my parents. I have always loved animals and have not lived a year without several. Right now I have:
15 goats (most are babies I'm going to sell)
The does: Snickers, Chickadee ,Ari and her sister Athena.
Three wethers (neutered males): Taffy, Eddy and, soon to be wether, Crowley.
The babies: Cider, Gypsy, Kipper, Screech, Traveler, Icarus, Heifer and Gidget.
Snickers had twins (Screech and Crowley), Athena had triplets (Cider, Kipper and Gypsy) and Ari had Quadruplets (Traveler, Icarus, Heifer and Gidget). Chickadee is the only one left to kid (give birth).
3 dogs (ones my parent's)
Zane, pit bull mix
Abby, Shiba Inu X German Shepperd
Deputy, Catahula X Lab
Zane and Abby are from shelters and Deputy came from an ad at the feed store.
1 Cat
Ardeshir: A 10 month old tabby with 27 toes and a bent tail.
1 Horse
Patch: A miniature horse that thinks he's a goat and lives for food. Also is loved by our neighbors daughter with high functioning Autism.
When I lived in Oklahoma five years ago I had four hens in my backyard (two Road Island Red's and a Barred Rock). I am looking to get some more soon.
