My baby chicks are due on Easter. this is my first time raising chicks/chickens. What are the basic does and don’t? Chicks 101 if you will. My chicks are in an incubator. I have 7 eggs. When do I start feeding them? When do I take the turning devise out of the incubator? Someone said 5 days prior to hatching and I’ve seen 3 days prior to hatching? What is pasty butt. lol or whatever you call it.
Should I introduce grit right away to babies, if not, what age?
