I have always looked things up on Backyard Chickens but had signed up until now.
I have 19 "girls". My spoiled girls. They were a year old April 30th and have been laying eggs since about October of last year. My question is when will they lay the size egg they are supposed to lay on a more consistent basis? I have 10 Rhode Island, 4 Golden Comet and 5 Plymouth. Any help would be great. Glad to be part of this now.

! Great to have you in our community! Unsure why your chickens aren't laying more consistently-sized eggs. You might post in the link below for some advice. Good luck to you!

Their eggs should have been bigger some time ago - maybe they need higher protein feed. Have they ever been wormed - maybe parasites are depreiving them of the best part of their meals.
