Hi there

Thanks everyone! I got the hens for my partners little boy who had to give his away because they moved, when my partner moved in I got talked into getting chooks by a 8 year old! We share the feeding and egg collecting as we share care the kids, but when the young fella is here he does it all. He saves his egg money to pay for the feed and then spends the rest on lego! I think I get as much enjoyment as he does out of the chooks!!

well as of now, 2 native Philippine hens, 2 Kabir hens, 1 kabir-asil cross hen, 1 kabir-asil cross and 1 kabir-native pullets, 1 kabir-asil cross rooster.
and very annoying 13 chicks and pullets to be...others would follow me whenever they see me around...well, i just say, "Quit it! I'm not your Father!!!". hahaha

Mine peck my toes when I go in to change their water bucket, I fill bucket then by the time i get back they have scratched the hole in where the bucket sits grrrrr. We now have water bottles too, they love drinking from them.
