In the Brooder
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New to chickens! We have only had our little flock for about a month.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
Not totally sure, they're all mixed!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Eggs! Watching them (chickens are SO fun to watch), spending more time outside, self sufficiency and knowing the food i eat comes from happy animals.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, cooking, reading, walking in the woods!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Three cats, two dogs, a husband and a little one!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found this site while researching before we got our girls, and i keep coming back when i need more info. This community seems so welcoming!
