Already posted this in the quail forum, but not getting much of a response. We set up Our Hovabator Genesis incubator today. Put water in channel 1 and let it run for an hour. The humidity was at 65% so we took the red plug out hoping for it to go down. Let that run for two hours, and it was still at 65%. Changed water from channel 1 to channel 2 and we're not seeing any difference. We live in central Florida, should we go ahead and take all the water out? We will be incubating Cortunix quail eggs this time. Thanks!

Do you know what the humidity in the room is? Have you double checked with a second hydro if the inc one is reading correctly? Sometimes if you just washed the inc they seem to take a day or two to "dry" even if they look dry.
But if everything is correct, I'd not add any water and see what that does.
