Honeybees in the feeder.

We leave in Central Texas and weather became quite warm. A lot of honeybees appeared from nowhere and swarming around chicken feeder. It looks like chickens afraid of them and not going close to the feeder anymore.
I removed feeder from the coop and added food on the floor, but bees came again. Not sure what to do next.

The bees came here too! Someone suggested wetting the feed, and it worked! All bees left within minutes. The bees are eating powder off the feed, they need protein…see this thread, there is some good info from bee experts, it’s where I got my help.

I put out some dry feed just for the bees outside of the run. We do love our pollinators…..they are important!

We do the same. Also keep stuff in the water bowls so the beeds that fall in can get back out

Run a sprinkler for afternoon to evening then again in the morning. The bees get the message and won't return.
