Housing for Silkies

Would this be okay to house silkies, or something simular and a little bigger?
I've had silkies before but I've always had a chicken coop.
I'm pretty much starting over.

I would think that would be fine. They one in the pictures looks small for seven birds so perhaps a little larger would be better. Make sure it is predator safe for what you have in your area? Could something dig under? And I would make sure that the roost are low for the silkies. Otherwise looks good.

Well I don't have my birds where I am and I'm going to get new ones, maybe about 2-3 hens.
I'm going to try and find something a bit bigger local,so I can have a look at it check it all out, give it a paint job maybe haha.

If you have the space and budget I would error on the side of too large because I have yet to meet anyone who didn't go out and buy some more chickens. I am now on coop 2..... lol

It's just until I can get my 4 older birds, from where I used to live ( they are at my mums), then I will be expanding into an actual chicken coop/pen once I have more money saved up and can get a plan of a chicken coop up and running for my boyfriend to build for me

Thank you. Yours is also quite lovely! I have tried out a few breeds and I think I'm hooked on these guys.
