How can you tell the age of a chicken? (pictures included)

Maybe, being hens in a large breeders operation, they just didn't get the individual attention that you can give them now. Now they are living more like a chicken should live. This might bring them to the "pretty" look you desire. Love them, spoil them and treat them like the lovely chicken Princesses they truly are, and they should bloom like a rose bush with all that TLC. Gorgeous birds, by the way.
