OK, simple question, but we non-builder types can't figure it out:

What do I use to cover the edge of the chicken wire? I'm talking about where we cut the wire at a corner and stapled it on the posts-- the corner posts in our run are 4x4s, and the wire is bending up on all corners, especially the door.

I thought of using just 1x2 strips, but is there something easier and also weatherproof! I need to cover this before my kids get stuck!

What do you all do??

many thanks:)

I have 4x4 at the corners of mine alos. I covered the edge of the wire fence with 1x2's screwed in place. This way it also keeps anything from prying up the fence between your staples.

Oh, thank you both!! OK, see I never thought of pliers, ha!

Davaroo, that's a nice run. Is that a Junior Roost in there? I'll work on the pliers and let DH do the wood strips in his "free" time.

thanks again!
