How do I train ducks to nest in a certain area?

I have a flock of 11 mixed breeds. They are free range ducks. They have started nesting in my front yard at night, which I would not care about, except that anytime one of the dogs or cats walks by them, they all start quacking. Underneath my bedroom window! They are seriously disturbing my sleep. Does anybody know how to train them to nest somewhere else, or at least make the yard uncomfortable for them. They are fed and watered in another area of the farm, so I'm not sure why they have picked the yard to sleep. It is slightly sloped and out in the open.

When you find out the answer to that, you be sure and let the rest of us know

Basically, when I find a duck nest I'll leave the 'newest' 2 or 3 eggs in the nest and take the rest. It usually takes them a week or so before they start catching on.
