How do I use calcium gluconate for prolapse?

I have a hen with a prolapse. I've read about it and want to give her calcium gluconate in case she has a calcium deficiency. Does anyone know how often and for how long I should give her the 23% injectable? Just once? Once a day? Twice a day? For how many days?

Also, the bottle I have doesn't contain any preservatives. How long can I use it for before it spoils?

Any advice and pointers would be very welcome!!

Has anyone out there used this? I calculated the dose but I'm wondering if it's daily or twice daily and for how long usually?

I gave her one dose yesterday and today she seems better. Any help would be appreciated!
