encourage my chickens to become broody ive given their nest more bedding and left the eggs in there but ahh i need one of them to sit on fertile eggs!!!

i only have two chickens and i want more!

i know i cant make them broody but is there any other meathods to encouraging them to wanna be mommies???

I've never known of any way to encourage them to set, they just have to get in the mood.

What kind of hens do you have?

Tell them to hurry up and get broody, or they'll become chicken curry over rice.

Sometimes depends on the chicken, some just dont want to lay...try wooden eggs, maybe its to hot in there, do others share the nest box, how old is she...

clair is a bantam.i have wood eggs she holds no intrest in.i dont have a heat lamp in the coop.marley shares the house shes 11 mo old
